Shipping & Pick-Up
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our Shipping & Deliveries Policy:
All items are available for in-store pickup or delivery. Please note that shipping and handling charges are extra. We use Canada Post for shipping within Canada.
Items will only be available for pickup after 3 pm during store hours (closed on Mondays and Public Holidays). Please call ahead to schedule an earlier pickup time. A minimum of 3 days is required for pickup from the day the order is placed. Please call the store at least 2 days in advance if you are unable to make it to the store on the pickup date.
Shipping for Tea
A flat rate of $5 will apply to all orders for tea shipped anywhere in Canada.
Shipping & Handling for Macarons
A flat rate shipping & handling fee of $35 is set for macaron sets to British Columbia/Alberta and $40 for the Rest of Canada (additional shipping charges may apply to 2 or more boxes of 30).
All macaron box sets are carefully packaged in bubble wrap and shipped in sturdy boxes with ice packs to ensure freshness. Macaron box sets are shipped using XPresspostTM and arrive within two to three business days of shipping, dependant on Canada Post Policies.
Orders will only be shipped between Tuesday and Thursday since XPresspostTM shipping on Fridays will result in macaron orders being held at the post office over the weekend until the next business day.
Orders placed after 1:00 pm PST Monday-Thursday will not be processed until the following business day. Orders placed after 12:00 am PST Friday-Sunday will not processed until the following Tuesday. All orders leave our facility by 4:00pm PST.

All orders will be shipped in one to two business days following the day the order was processed by the shop.
If faster shipping is required, please call our shop at (604) 558-3308 to make arrangements.
PLEASE NOTE: Macaron box sets cannot be shipped to addresses in Nunavut, Yukon or Northwest Territories at this time due to delivery limitations in XpresspostTM shipping. XpresspostTM shipping to most addresses in these territories is seven business days and hence too long to ensure freshness of the macarons.
For macaron orders, by placing an order for shipping you acknowledge Soirette is not responsible in any way for occasional delay or breakage of macarons that may occur during transportation. Soirette is using a safe and secure packaging solution but does not have control over how the package will be handled by Canada Post or couriers and offers no refund for occasional breakage of macarons that may occur during transportation.
For orders of accessories, if the product arrives in less-than-perfect condition, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to refund or exchange the product. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Soirette reserves the right to change the shipping method, at no additional cost, as long as it is not expected to delay the delivery.

If Canada Post attempts delivery and fails to locate someone to receive the product, we are not held responsible for replacing or refunding those items. Please note all pricing is subject to change.
Freshness & Care
All of our macaron box sets are well packaged, padded with bubble wrap and include an ice pack to ensure our product arrives at your doorstep in the same excellent condition it left our kitchen in.
Macarons: After receiving your package, Soirette macarons can be kept for up to three days in the refrigerator, but should be enjoyed at room temperature.
Shipping During Warm Weather
To ensure your confections arrive fresh and with no environmental damage, we package them using the industry's newest technology, including crush-proof trays, sturdy shipping boxes and frozen gel packs. These materials are included in the shipping & handling fees. We do our best to ensure the package reaches you safely. We are not held responsible for extreme weather conditions that might affect the quality of the product.
At this time we do not ship to addresses outside of Canada.
REFUNDS, RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY
Macarons & Other Desserts
Every handmade confection we sell is carefully inspected and packaged before being shipped. Occasional breakage of macarons may occur. By placing a macaron order for shipping, you acknowledge Soirette is not responsible in any way for occasional delay or breakage that may occur during transportation. Soirette is using a safe and secure packaging solution but does not have control over how the package will be handled by Canada Post or couriers and offers no refund for occasional breakage that may occur.
All payments made are non-refundable except if a delivery/shipping order is not completed, and it is proven to be the direct consequence of Soirette’s misaction.
In case of non-fulfillment due to a disaster, Soirette will decide, at its sole discretion, if a refund will be made.
In no case will a refund be made if incorrect or incomplete information has been provided by the purchasing customer.
We are not able to offer refunds on shipping delays due to weather, strike, mechanical failure, or circumstances beyond our control.
All food items purchased in store are perishable and therefore NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE.
If any of our products do not meet your expectations, we would like to know. Please contact us, and please include your order number and a description of the reason for the return. We will gladly exchange or refund your purchase within thirty (30) days of receipt of the merchandise. Please note that refunds will only be issued to the same credit card that was used for the original purchase. Customers are responsible for shipping expenses for returned items.
