Soirette is a magical jewel-box pastry shop situated in the beautiful Coal Harbour area of Vancouver, BC. The shop specializes in delicious cakes, desserts and Parisian macarons, pairing them with specially chosen loose-leaf teas from around the world.

Soirette is the dream of Pastry Chef Shobna Kannusamy, an alumnus of the Diplome de Pâtisserie program at Le Cordon Bleu with Honors, who fell in love with baking while completing her previous engineering degree at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Together with her team of talented pastry chefs, she creates desserts and cakes from the finest ingredients to be a treat for the senses. Having lived in different parts of the world while growing up in a diverse, multicultural community, Shobna brings a unique twist to her creations and offerings. “Our team loves being creative with pastry," says Shobna. "Our joy comes from creating something special that really touches people’s hearts through each bite."


Soirette’s macarons are wonderful bites of airiness and flavor, and lovingly handcrafted from the finest ingredients. Delicate almond meringue shells are filled with ganaches or flavoured buttercreams and handcrafted in the traditional French style to bring you a classic line of macaron flavours available year-round, and special seasonal flavours that change every season. Our cakes are butter based, rich and filled with the smoothest swiss buttercream paired with phenomenal ingredients. They are the perfect addition to any celebration. Soirette's Tea Collection is carefully sourced from around the world, working with tea farms directly when possible. All Soirette's teas are fair-trade, with most of them being organic as well!
